Why "Indigo"?
The inspiration for the name "Indigo Theatre Company" comes from DC Comics' Indigo Lanterns, superheroes who derive their power from compassion. As lifelong comic book fans, our founders felt that "compassion" was the perfect core value of the company.
What does "inclusive casting" mean?
By casting roles without regard to "traditional casting limitations", we aim to produce theatre that breaks stereotypes and invites talented artists to work with us, many of whom may feel they have been overlooked in the past for superficial reasons. While certain scripts may have specific requirements for an actor, and we would honor any requirements of an acquired production license, we try to select productions without limitations so that performers of all backgrounds can shine.
Where do you perform?
We perform at various local theatres and venues in Northern Colorado.
How do I audition?
We will be holding auditions for Firebringer this summer 2026. Check back for updates.
Do you have a current season?
Please visit Our Shows page for more information about current productions.
Do you have sponsors?
Yes! We are accepting sponsors for our 2026/2027 season (this would not include Sylvia). Contact us at indigotheatreco@gmail.com for more information.

Sarah, a Colorado native, cultivates her 10 years of experience as a small business owner and professional actress as Creative Director of Indigo Theatre Company. She is honored to share the title of Co-Founder with Drew and looks forward to producing local theatre for many years to come.

Drew combines his years of experience as an on-air radio DJ and voice-over artist with his newest career as a content broker to help keep ITC moving in all the right directions.
Also a Colorado native and an avid performer, we are thrilled that he will join us on stage and behind the scenes with Indigo Theatre Company.

Mirelle can make anything and does, in fact, make everything, as her full-time career with IDFabrications, where she designs accessories for professional mermaids.
